FINTRAC ID Verification Agreement
Between you (the mortgage broker named in your Complai account) and HNDL Technology Inc. (Complai). Effective when you click "I Agree."
1.You appoint Complai as your agent to verify your clients' identity using the government-issued photo ID method (PCMLTFR s.105(1)(a); FINTRAC Guide 11 §2.1).
2.For each verification, Complai delivers to you in your dashboard, as soon as feasible:
(a) the person's full name on the ID;
(b) the date of verification;
(c) the type of ID;
(d) the ID number;
(e) the issuing jurisdiction and country; and
(f) the expiry date.
3.Complai keeps these records for 7 years. On your request, Complai returns them to you in a machine-readable file within 30 days. You are the FINTRAC reporting entity — you decide when to verify, what to report, and you keep your own copy.
4.You are responsible for checking that what Complai confirms is valid and current (Guide 11 §8).

6.Either party can end this on 30 days' notice. BC law applies.
